The Request Journey

Every request passes through four distinct phases. As the host, you have full control over moving requests between these phases.

Behind the Scenes: Fair Rotation

A common issue at busy shows is the "fast-typer." Guest A finishes their song, immediately submits another request before leaving the stage, and ends up back at the top of the queue—starving Guest B who has been waiting patiently for an hour.

OmniStage solves this gracefully: Because the system meticulously logged Guest A's performance as completed during Phase 4, it knows they have sung 1 time.

When "Fair Rotation" is enabled, the queue automatically auto-sorts by the number of songs performed. Guest B (0 songs performed) will naturally float above Guest A (1 song performed), guaranteeing a flawlessly fair rotation without you needing to manually organize 40 index cards!
